Editorial Policy
Immigration and money decisions are expensive to get wrong. These are the standards we hold our guides to.
Sources
We base factual claims on primary sources wherever possible: government immigration departments, official visa application centres, regulators, central banks and statistics agencies. Where we rely on market data, such as average rents or salaries, we use reputable published sources and present figures as approximate.
Accuracy and dates
Fees, salary thresholds, processing times and quotas change often. We date every article, mark when it was last updated and flag figures that are likely to change. When a rule changes we update the guide rather than publishing a new one, so the address you bookmarked stays current.
Independence
INTO Abroad is supported by advertising. Advertisers have no say in what we write, and we do not accept payment for positive coverage. Advertisements are labelled and kept separate from editorial content.
Corrections
If you find an error, tell us with a link to the source. We review every report and correct mistakes promptly, noting significant changes in the updated date.
Not legal advice
Our guides explain how systems work. They do not replace advice from a licensed immigration lawyer or regulated consultant who can look at your individual case.
